The Second Street Dreams Audio Network
I established the Second Street Dreams Audio Network in 2011 in part because I really liked doing stories, especially when I wasn’t under a time clock.
Using my MFA Theatre degree in Playwriting from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and my years of reporting for TV and Radio, I started with the reading of new plays with the podcast Feeding Thespis.
Then came my exposure to classical music. I started producing and hosting Staccato a news and events feature about classical musi mainly because I wanted to learn more about it.
As I learned more, I found many African-American classical musicians, whose names and music I did not know, so once again, I started producing and hosting Classical Music in Color.
Thank you for visiting the site and for listening to my podcasts. I hope you enjoy them and learn from them too.
